This section of Costa Azul Beach is west of the lookout at the entrance to San Jose del Cabo, Los Cabos, Mexico.
February 21 and 24, 2016 at Playa El Tule, Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos. This beach is popular for surfing and families relaxing at the beach. It is also a very popular beach that is chosen as a venue for festivals and events. Recently it has become a popular place for stand up paddle (SUP) as well. There are scattered rocks and boulders in the water and all who swim, SUP or surf must keep a sharp eye for hazzards.

Costa Azul’s southwest side is where you’ll find the world famous Zippers and La Roca surf breaks, with competitions held every summer. Services here include Zipper’s and Dante’s restaurants, a convenience store, occasional board rentals and lessons on the beach, and the Costa Azul Surf Shop across the highway next to Havana Supper Club. Zippers and nearby La Roca are intermediate to expert surf breaks, and dangerous for beginners. Arrange a lesson and board rental at the Costa Azul Surf Shop.
